Rebecca Wickersham, MA, LPCC, CPT-III
Rebecca Wickersham is a psychotherapist and Ph.D. student at Saybrook University studying clinical psychology with a focus on existential-humanistic psychology. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University in psychology with a minor in sociology and a Master of Arts from Naropa University in clinical mental health counseling with a focus on mindfulness-based transpersonal psychology. Rebecca is a member of the American Psychological Association and is affiliated with Division 32 (The Society for Humanistic Psychology), Division 35 (The Society for the Psychology of Women), Division 52 (International Psychology), and Division 56 (Trauma Psychology). She is also a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
Rebecca is passionate about working with clients affected by life’s existential questions, trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, and dissociative disorders. She owns her private practice in Boulder, Colorado, where she sees clients for individual psychotherapy and mindfulness coaching. She takes an existential, person-centered approach to therapy, weaving aspects of gestalt, attachment theory, and mindfulness techniques into each session. She is a firm believer in the healing of humor and authenticity and incorporates these elements to foster a genuine connection with her clients.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, rock climbing, traveling, writing, music, and art.
